C.A.R.E. Program –  Cancer Awareness and Resiliency Education for children. Our program is an educational program that explains cancer to children on an age appropriate level. Children in grades Kindergarten through Eighth Grade will benefit from this program which consists of a set of three age-appropriate books, activities for each child and a fundraiser.

We also are passionate about providing education and guidance around the question, “How do you explain cancer to children?” We are proud to offer three children’s books written by Founder Jean Schoen Pascoe and illustrated by local artist Greg Justus. These books, written for a beginner reader through young adult age, help children understand emotionally and clinically what a cancer diagnosis means. We note that these books are ideal for any child struggling to understand a cancer diagnosis, whether it is of a parent, sibling, friend or classmate. These books are available for sale on Amazon:
